Manchester United's Nigerian Striker Scores One, Creates Three In Sensational Game
Published: November 10, 2018Nigerian striker Mipo Odubeko will fancy his chances of making his competitive debut for Manchester United U18s before the end of the 2018-19 season on the back of his imperious display for the U16s.
The Irish-born frontman contributed to four goals in a sensational U16 Premier League Cup game between Manchester United and Norwich City on Saturday afternoon, which ended 5-4 in favour of the Red Devils.
The Canaries will be furious that they threw away the game as they were leading 3-0 before their opponents leveled the tie before going on to win.
Odubeko played a key role in inspiring United's comeback, scoring one goal and providing three assists for his teammates.
He has added assists to his game of recent and was credited with two in United U17s 6-0 rout of Swansea City earlier this week.
