At least three English clubs will be in attendance when Bordeaux take on Caen at Stade Matmut-Atlantique on Sunday afternoon, a game which corresponds to the 13th round of matches in Ligue 1.

According to Bordeaux dedicated website Girondins4ever, Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Brom and Queens Park Rangers have posted their scouts to run the rule over the players on both teams.

Nigeria international Samuel Kalu has retained his place in the starting line-up after starring in Thursday's Europa League meeting against Zenit St Petersburg.

The Bordeaux number ten does not automatically qualify for a work permit to play in England as he has not featured in seventy five percent of Nigeria's competitive games over the last two years.

Real Sociedad, SD Eibar and Deportivo Alavés scouts are also watching the game as well as Rennes, Lyon, PSG, Monaco and Amiens SC.

Kalu will hop on a plane bound for Nigeria shortly after the clash as he has been named in the latest Super Eagles squad for an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.
