Scandinavian-Based Nigerian Stars On Fire; Arsenal Product Akpom, Chievo's Obi Net Maiden Goals For New Clubs

Catch up on the Nigerian players that were on target for their respective European clubs on Sunday, November 11.

Arsenal product Chuba Akpom opened his account for Greek club PAOK as they claimed a 2-1 win against Panaitolikos in the Super League.

The former England youth international struck in the 65th minute, eight minutes after he was brought in. It was his first goal for the team he joined in the summer after 8 games in all competitions.

In the Italian Serie A, Joel Obi proved his injury problems that had kept him on the sidelines for one month are behind him after starting and playing for 87 minutes in Chievo Verona's 2-2 draw with Bologna.
