South Africa Star Worried About Ahmed Musa's Speed, Super Eagles Premier League Stars
Published: November 16, 2018South Africa striker Lebo Mothiba is worried about the speed of Ahmed Musa ahead of tomorrow's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Super Eagles in Johannesburg.
The in-form RC Strasbourg Alsace frontman acknowledged that the Super Eagles have several stars who play in the English Premier League.
Of the 23 players named in Nigeria's roster, ten ply their trade in the big five European leagues : Omeruo, Troost-Ekong, Balogun, Aina, Iwobi, Iheanacho, Moses Simon, Kalu, Success, Chukwueze.
''I don’t think it will be easier because most of their players have experience and have played at some of the biggest teams in the world,'' Mothiba was quoted as saying by kickoff.com.
''Some of them play in the Premier League and they have individuals like [Ahmed] Musa, who is too fast.
''So, I think it’s going to be a difficult game compared to Seychelles. We have to keep focused at training, listen to instructions and give everything [on Saturday].''
