Chelsea Reply Torino : European Clubs Prepared To Pay Over 10M Euros To Sign Ola Aina
Published: November 21, 2018Serie A outfit Torino face competition from other European clubs to sign Nigeria national-teamer Ola Aina, according to reports.
Ola Aina joined Torino on a season-long loan in the summer transfer window and the Italian club have set the wheels in motion to acquire him on a permanent basis even before the expiration of the agreement after a string of fine performances.
The Maroons have held preliminary talks with Chelsea over the outright purchase of the wing back but the Premier League side have insisted that his price tag has to be met.
Turin-based sports daily Tuttosport reported on Wednesday that Chelsea replied Torino that they already had several offers for the defender, even at over 10 million euros.
Prior to agreeing terms with Torino, Aina had been heavily courted by Championship teams in England plus La Liga clubs.
The Super Eagle penned a contract extension with Chelsea until the end of the 2020-2021 season before he was loaned out.
