Talented Ipswich Town Striker Eligible To Represent Australia, Nigeria Dazzles In PDL Game
Published: January 07, 2019 Ipswich Town starlet, Ben Folami has bolstered his reputations further following his latest scintillating showing for the club as he continues to court glowing admiration.
The Australian-Nigerian striker scored two brilliant goals for the club's U23s as they brushed aside Bristol City in a Professional Development League cracker held at the Playford Road on Monday afternoon, gifting his table-topping side a 4-2 victory in the process.
After diverting home a Charlie Dawkins ball on the 42nd minute mark to put his side 3-0 up, he further showed the gulf in class when he picked up a pass from McGavin to create space for himself before firing in another goal ten minutes after the break.
Folami is well regarded as one of the most talented youngsters to emerge from the club's youth teams and is held in high regard by the Blues hierarchy.
Before now, he has made four topflight appearances for the senior team, featuring in games versus Reading, Barnsley, Aston Villa and Millwall last season while also turning out against Crystal Palace in the League Cup.
