Fenerbahce coach Ersun Yanal was impressed with the performance of Victor Moses in his side's 1-0 win against FC Zenit Saint Petersburg in a Europa League round of 32 first leg tie at Sukru Saracoglu in Istanbul on Tuesday.
The Chelsea loanee was involved in the build-up play that led to the Yellow Canaries' winner netted by Islam Slimani in the 21st minute when the visitors failed to deal with a corner and the ball fell at the feet of the Algerian.
Moses was applauded by the Fenerbahce fans as he made way for Alper Potuk in the 84th minute, after causing a lot of problems.
''Mathieu Valbuena, Victor Moses and other players who have not played for a while, especially our defenders, all impressed.
''This period needs to be extended further. We played a very experienced and strong team. The second leg will be a strategic and difficult match.''
Moses made his fourth appearance for Fenerbahce against Zenit and has now logged 178 minutes in all competitions for the Turkish club, two minutes more than his total game time for Chelsea this season.
