Super Eagles Star Echiejile Labelled 'World Class' By HJK Helsinki Coach
Nigeria international Elderson Echiejile has been labelled world class by HJK Helsinki manager, Mika Lehkosuo.

The left-back is training with the Finnish champions at their get-together in Turkey with a view to a transfer this month.

The experienced Super Eagles defender has caught the eye of HJK's coach, according to a source privy to the deal.

''Echiejile is training with HJK just for fitness assessment but not a trial,'' he told allnigeriasoccer.com.

''They are checking his fitness, what the coach said as at yesterday is that they definitely see he's a world class player.

''Everything has been sorted, he has been with them since Thursday and has agreed a two-year contract.''

Echiejile has represented clubs in France, Portugal, Belgium, Spain and Turkey, and has been unemployed since mutually terminating his contract with Monaco in August 2018.

Taye Taiwo, Nnaemeka Anyamele, Macauley Chrisantus, Nnamdi Oduamadi and Vincent Onovo previously wore the jersey of HJK.
