Photo Confirmation : Norwegian Club FK Bodø/Glimt Snap Up Flying Eagles Striker
Published: March 04, 2019Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Norwegian Eliteserien club FK Bodø/Glimt have pulled off a transfer coup by signing highly-rated Nigerian striker Victor Okoh Boniface.
The 2000-born player has been offered a deal after impressing in two trial matches against Aalesund and Valerenga, scoring two goals against the former in a 3-0 win.
A product of Real Sapphire FC, the attacker has penned a four-year deal that will keep him at FK Bodø/Glimt until the end of the 2022 season.
For the upcoming season, the promising Nigerian youngster will suit up with the number eight jersey.
He was named to the Flying Eagles roster for the 2019 Africa U20 Cup of Nations but was replaced at the last minute after suffering a knee injury.
Barring an injury in the upcoming pre-season matches against Start, Brann and Tromsø, Boniface is in line to make his competitive debut for FK Bodø/Glimt when they face the champions Rosenborg on March 31.
