Why Isaac Success Has Been Omitted From Watford's 18 Vs Fulham
Published: April 02, 2019Super Eagles striker Isaac Success has been omitted from Watford's match day squad against Fulham at Vicarage Road on Tuesday evening owning to a minor injury, manager Javi Gracia has revealed.
The Hornets number 10 capped off a fine performance with an assist after coming off the bench in the 2-1 loss to Manchester United last weekend.
The former Granada starlet is in contention to return to the squad against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, if he does not suffer a relapse over the next few days.
''This moment we have Tom Cleverley, Peñaranda and Success out of the team,'' Gracia explained at the pre-match press conference.
''They are not available. Isaac played the last game, but he picked up a knock in his knee and is not ready to play in this moment.
''Peñaranda felt something in his hamstring and is not available. Isaac will be ready for the next game [against Wolves].''
Success has featured in 25 games in the Premier League this term, his highest number of appearances in a single season since moving to England in the summer of 2016.
