'It's Not Just Going In'- Mikel Reacts To Middlesbrough's Goalscoring Crisis
Middlesbrough have slipped down the Championship table largely due to the fact that they have failed to score any goal in their last three matches in the league against Aston Villa, Norwich City and Bristol City.

Of the 24 teams in the English second-tier, only Ipswich Town, Bolton Wanderers and Stoke City have scored fewer goals than Boro.

Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel is hoping things can change back in their favor and lady luck comes their way in subsequent matches, starting from this weekend's trip to Swansea City.

''Exactly, it changes very quickly. We just have to keep doing what we are doing, believing in ourselves and believing in each other, believing in the manager and keep doing exactly what he wants us to do,'' Mikel told Boro's official website.

''I know it's frustrating for the fans we are not getting results but if you look at the games - the chances that we have created - we should be coming out with something, a point, three points but it's not just going in.

''We sit in the dressing room and scratching our heads, what to do, how to put the ball in the back of the net. I think we just have to keep going.''

After 39 matches in the Championship, Boro are eight on the table with 58 points and have scored 40 goals while conceding 33.
