Liverpool Striker Of Nigerian Descent Promoted To England Women's U21 Squad
Liverpool striker of Nigerian descent Rinsola Babajide is in contention to add to her international caps at youth level this month after receiving a call-up to England Women's U21 team.

Babajide has been promoted to the The Young Lionesses U21 team on the back of her impressive performances for Liverpool Women.

The 20-year-old was a member of the England U20 team that finished third at last year's FIFA U20 Women's World Cup in France.

The Young Lionesses will face France, Norway and Sweden at the forthcoming La Manga U23 tournament, with the games scheduled to take place on April 5th, 7th and 9th respectively.

Babajide will return to Liverpool ahead of their last three league games against Bristol City, Birmingham City and Everton.

The former Crystal Palace, Milwall Lionesses and Watford Ladies star has also played competitively for England U19s.
