Prolific Nigerian Striker Departs Manchester United, Rejects New Deal
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that prolific Nigerian striker Ademipo Odubeko will bid farewell to Manchester United at the end of this month.

The 16-year-old would have been a first-year scholar at United in the upcoming season but has rejected a contract offer from the club.

Odubeko is following in the footsteps of Dream Team VII invitee Tosin Kehinde who opted to leave Old Trafford last summer because there were no guarantees he would break into the first team.

The physical attacker was a nightmare for opposition defences last season and needed only 21 minutes to open his goalscoring account on his competitive debut for the U18 team of the Red Devils against Blackburn Rovers in February 2019.

The St Joseph's Boys Football Club, Dublin product relocated to England with his parents in August 2015 on the invitation of Manchester City, where he spent five months before he was snapped up by Manchester United.

Two players of Nigerian descent, Ayodeji Sotona and Dillon Hoogewerf, have agreed scholarship contracts with Manchester United ahead of the new season.
