Confirmed : Two Promising Goalkeepers Depart Chelsea
Published: June 19, 2019Chelsea have confirmed through their official website that promising goalkeeper Nathan Baxter has joined Scottish Premiership side Ross County on loan for the duration of the 2019/20 season.
The 20-year-old was loaned out to Yeovil Town for the entirety of last season and impressed at the demoted League Two side, winning all five of the club's Player of the Season awards.
Having failed to break into the Blues first-team setup, Baxter has enjoyed loan spells at Metropolitan Police, Solihull Moors and Woking.
The highly-rated goalkeeper was a non-playing substitute as Chelsea won the UEFA Youth League in April 2016.
Meanwhile, the goalkeeper that was named in the starting line-up against PSG in the UEFA Youth League showpiece three years ago, Bradley Collins has completed a permanent transfer to newly promoted Championship club Barnsley.
The 22-year-old Collins has inked a four-year contract with the Reds, with a further option in the club’s favour.
