Everton have informed via their official website that they have completed the signing of Moly Pike from Chelsea Women.

The England youth international will remain at the Merseyside club until at least the summer of 2021 having put pen to paper on a two-year contract.

Pike has represented England at all youth age groups and has inked her first professional contract with Everton.

In other Chelsea-related news, Chelsea Women captain Karen Carney, 31, announced on Friday morning that she has retired from football with immediate effect.

The Solihull-born playmaker turned out for Birmingham City, Arsenal and Chicago Red Stars prior to her move to Chelsea in 2016.

Carney netted 32 goals in 143 appearances for the Lionesses and was named to the England squad for the 2015 and 2019 Women's World Cup.
