Scottish Premiership side Hamilton Academical have announced the loan signing of Nigerian-born winger Korede Adedoyin.

The 18-year-old Everton starlet will spend the whole of the 2019-2020 campaign at The Accies.

Prior to agreeing terms with Hamilton Academical, fellow Scottish clubs Heart of Midlothian and Dundee United had explored the possibility of signing him on loan, and he was also on the radar of Belgian, Cypriot and Dutch teams.

Commenting on the capture of Adedoyin, manager Brian Rice told the club's official website : '' It’s fantastic to be attracting young talent from a team like Everton and what better place to come than a club in the top tier of Scottish football.

''Korede’s arrival gives me options now in the attacking department and I’m sure he will learn a lot throughout his time here.''

Last season, Adedoyin, who trained with the Nigeria U20s in Germany ahead of the World Cup, scored 13 goals in 21 appearances for Everton U18s.
