Done Deal : Nigerian Whizkid Departs Tottenham Hotspur For Celtic
Published: July 27, 2019Scottish Premiership giants Celtic have announced the signing of Nigerian youngster Tobi Oluwayemi from Tottenham Hotspur.
The promising goalkeeper has agreed a three-year contract to join Celtic, subject to international approval.
Aged 16, Tobi Oluwayemi has represented England at U16 level and comes from a family of goalkeepers, his brother Joshua plays for Spurs U18 side.
Commenting on his move to the Scottish champions, Tobi Oluwayemi told the club's official website : ''I am delighted to be joining Celtic, it really is a dream come true and a massive opportunity for me.
"I know Karamoko very well and he has told all about Celtic, the size of the Club, the great supporters and the Club’s tradition for giving young players an opportunity.
"I am very excited about this move and I will be working hard, giving everything to the Club to progress and make the most of this great opportunity.''

Tobi will link up with former Arsenal wonderkid Armstrong Okoflex at Celtic Reserve Team squad.
