Official : Liverpool's Youngest Goalscorer In History Loaned Out To League One Club
Published: July 30, 2019EFL League One club Oxford United have confirmed the signing of Liverpool midfielder Ben Woodburn.
The Wales international will be spending the whole of the 2019-2020 season on loan at The Yellows.
Woodburn became the youngest goalscorer in the history of Liverpool when he found the net in a League Cup clash against Leeds United in November 2016 at the age of 17 years and 45 days.
He is comfortable playing as a winger and playmaker and has recorded 11 appearances for the first team of Liverpool.
The 19-year-old spent the first half of last season on loan at Sheffield United, featuring in eight matches for the club.
Woodburn has been allocated the number 10 shirt for the 2019-2020 season.
