Arsenal Hint At First Team Involvement For Saka, Olayinka As Teenagers Take Part In Photo Shoot
Published: August 07, 2019Arsenal have hinted that two promising Nigerian players, Bukayo Saka and James Olayinka, will be involved in some first team matches in the 2019-2020 season, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The two teenagers were selected to take part in Arsenal's first team photocall in London Colney on Wednesday, August 7.
Saka and Olayinka taking part in the photocall suggests that they are on the brink of earning promotion to the first team.
They were part of Arsenal's 29-man traveling squad to the United States for pre-season matches last month.
While Saka featured in all the matches during the tour of United States, Olayinka was named in the starting line-up against Colorado Rapids and Fiorentina.
Upon the team's return to Europe, the midfielder made a cameo appearance against Angers SCO while the winger was handed a run-out in the recent friendly against Barcelona.
Olayinka has not been included in Arsenal's match day squad for a competitive game and Saka has made the 18 seven times.
