Official : Nigerian Midfielder Signs Contract With Middlesbrough
Samuel Folarin has completed a transfer to Championship outfit Middlesbrough following a successful trial, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

Boro have not yet officially announced the capture of the promising youngster but the player's last club Tooting and Mitcham United FC confirmed on Friday that he has finalized his switch to Middlesbrough.

A midfielder by trade, Folarin was on target for Boro's first team after coming off the bench as they scored seven goals against Bishop Auckland in a pre-season friendly last month.

The 2000-born player got on the scoresheet for the U23 team of The Teessiders as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Shildon in another pre-season fixture.

According to Folarin's agency, FW Group Consultants Ltd, he has signed a professional contract with Middlesbrough.

The 18-year-old was in action for 13 minutes as Boro U23 began the new season with a 1-0 win against Aston Villa in the Premier League 2 Division 2.
