Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton Interested In Signing Former Super Eagles Invitee
Published: August 25, 2019Queens Park Rangers star Eberechi Eze is attracting interest from at least two English Premier League clubs, according to reports.
The Sun says Southampton are keeping tabs on the Queens Park Rangers striker and observed him at close quarters on Wednesday as QPR were beaten 3-1 by Swansea City.
The 21-year-old Eze is considered one of the most exciting young talents at The Hoops and Tottenham Hotspur are also among the clubs showing interest in him.
The Saints are looking to sign a homegrown player in the January transfer window following the departure of Fraser Forster to Celtic last week.
Since making his debut for Queens Park Rangers first team, he has appeared in 69 matches across all competitions and has found the back of the net seven times.
Born in London, Eze trained with the Super Eagles in London ahead of a friendly against Burkina Faso which was later called off in March 2017.
