Ebiowei & Jinadu Not Involved; Oluwabusola Goes 90 For Nigeria U17s In Loss To Sao Paulo FC
Five-time world champions at U17 level, Nigeria were beaten 2-1 by the youth team of Sao Paulo FC on Monday in their first test game on Brazilian soil ahead of the upcoming FIFA U17 World Cup.

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba handed a run-out to Bournemouth Academy product Joseph Oluwabusola and he went the distance while the two remaining English-based players in West Ham's Daniel Jinadu and Arsenal's Hale End Academy product Malcolm Ebiowei watched proceedings from the bench for the entirety of the game.

The Golden Eaglets created several scoring opportunities but were unable to put away the chances they created.

The home team led 1-0 at the break courtesy of Danilo Silva's 18th minute goal.

In the second half, Olakunle Olusegun restored parity when he converted a spot kick at minute 70 before Enrique Santos confirmed supremacy for Sao Paulo with a sublime finish in the 85th minute.

In their next friendly, the Golden Eaglets will lock horns with South Korea on Wednesday, October 16, the same day the Nigeria Football Federation will submit a final 21-man roster for the World Cup.
