What Arsenal Boss Emery Has Said About Saka Ahead Of Trip To Leicester City
Published: November 08, 2019
Arsenal boss Unai Emery believes Bukayo Saka has a bright future ahead of him but needs to be playing regularly in order to reach his potential.
The 18-year-old has played intermittently in the Premier League since the return of Alexandre Lacazette to full fitness, coming off the bench against Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers having started the previous four matches.
Saka is in contention to be included in Arsenal's matchday 18 when they face Wilfred Ndidi's Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters at London Colney on Friday on Saturday, Emery was quoted as saying by arsenal.com : ''We know we are taking one responsibility with the young players, but the young players need one process to achieve that responsibility and their performance in the team, but we are helping them.
''For example, it’s very good news for me about how we are improving Bukayo Saka, but he needs to play, play and play to take more confidence and experience to achieve his future we think he has. Then with other players it’s the same.''

Saka made his professional debut for the Gunners against Vorskla in November 2018 and has gone on to play 14 first-team games for the North London club, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
