Nigeria International Opens League Account For Brighton & Hove
Nigeria international, Ini Umotong on Friday evening opened her league goal account after scoring for Brighton in the 2-2 draw with Reading in their Women Super League game at the People's Pension Stadium.

On 34 minutes, the Super Falcons striker beat her marker with a quick dash before beating Republic of Ireland international Grace Moloney in the Reading goal.

The goal was her third this season but was the first in the league, with the other two strikes coming in cup games versus London Bees and Charlton Atlethic.

Her teammate Aiilen Whelan had earlier drawn them level with a header in Sussex after Fara Williams had opened the scoring for the opposition.

A very late effort from Remi Allen will however, deny them what could have been an important victory, and so they remain ninth on the 12-team league table.

Up next for Brighton is an away date with Tottenham Hotspur on 8th December.
