Bologna's Kingsley Michael Puts Injury Troubles Behind Him, Returns To Cremonese
Published: January 25, 20202015 U17 World Cup winner Kingsley Michael has put his injury troubles behind him and he's ready to start playing again after spending two months on the sidelines.
The Bologna-owned midfielder has not kicked a ball in a competitive match since suffering an injury during the first half of US Cremonese' 1-1 draw with Pescara on November 22.
Michael had to return to his parent club to undergo treatment and rehabilitation, and there's finally light at the end of the tunnel for the former Flying Eagles star as he has received the medical green light to return to the pitch.
Providing a fitness update on his client, Femi Olaniran of Quintessence Sports Management told allnigeriasoccer.com : "Kingsley had a hamstring injury but he has returned to full fitness.
"He returned to Cremonese yesterday and will begin training with the team today. He is expected to return to the squad as from next week Friday (January 31)".
Before Michael's hamstring issue, he appeared in six matches for Cremonese in the Italian Serie B.
