Young Arsenal Defender Lands In Cork Ahead Of His Unveiling By Irish Club
League of Ireland Premier Division club Cork City are set to unveil Nigeria-born starlet Joseph Olowu in the coming days if not hours, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.

Accompanied by his agent, the central defender landed in Cork on Friday morning and is now fully a player of Cork City after signing on the dotted line.

The agreement between Arsenal and Cork City will see Olowu remain at the Rebel Army until June 2020.

The 20-year-old could feature in Saturday afternoon's pre-season friendly against Longford Town at Bishopstown Training Ground, with kickoff scheduled for 1500 hours.

Olowu is in line to make his professional debut when Cork City face Shelbourne in their league opener on February 14, pending international clearance.

Highly-rated Republic of Ireland U17 international of Nigerian descent, Lauren Egbuloniu plays for Cork City Women's team.
