The News About Leicester's Ndidi No Super Eagles Fan Wants To Hear Ahead Of AFCONQ
Less than six weeks before the Super Eagles face Sierra Leone in their first match this decade, Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has cast doubts over the fitness of influential midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

The Nigeria international is still struggling to overcome a knee problem and has been rated as doubtful for the Foxes trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday, February 14.

He was supposed to start the Foxes last match before the winter break against Chelsea but was forced to pull out of the squad after feeling discomfort in his knee.

Providing an injury update on Ndidi, Rodgers told reporters : "Wilfred Ndidi is probably going to be doubtful for this game.

"He came back very, very quickly and played in the West Ham and Aston Villa games, but it was just a little reaction to his operation. We'll see how he is."

Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr will closely monitor the fitness of Ndidi in the coming weeks before deciding whether or not to include him on the roster for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
