Exclusive : Manchester United Considering Move For Nigerian Winger With A Past At Chelsea
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Manchester United are contemplating whether to sign highly-rated Nigerian youngster Adrian Akande.

Akande has been on the lookout for a new employer since late last year after opting not to sign a scholarship at Chelsea.

The 2003-born winger has undergone trials at Manchester United and was monitored at close quarters by their Academy coaches in three test games.

He will be a first year scholar at the Old Trafford outfit as from July 1, 2020 if he is offered a deal.

United face competition for the services of Akande, who has already visited West Ham, Glasgow Rangers and Bundesliga club Hoffenheim with a view to a transfer.

A product of Crystal Palace Academy, he was a member of the Golden Eaglets squad to the 2019 U17 Africa Cup of Nations in Tanzania and was named in Nigeria's provisional squad for the World Cup in Brazil.

The two-footed Akande has been described as a crossbreed of Eden Hazard and Ousmane Dembélé.
