Ighalo Set To Return To Manchester United Training May 18 But Must Wash His Own Kit
Published: April 30, 2020
Former Nigeria national-teamer Odion Ighalo is scheduled to return to training with his Manchester United teammates on May 18, 2020, according to reports in the English press.
The Daily Mail says Manchester United players will resume training at Carrington on May 18 but must wash their own kits as the laundry services will be out of action due to strict hygiene protocols.
The players have to keep a safe distance between each other as part of the social distancing rules due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Ighalo and his teammates have to go alone to the training ground and shower at home before heading to Carrington.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur players have resumed training ahead of a proposed return to Premier League action on June 8.
Before football activities were halted in England, Ighalo had made eight appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils, scoring 4 goals.
The Shanghai Shenhua loanee is contracted to the Old Trafford outfit until the end of next month.
