Wolverhampton Wanderers Leading Arsenal, Man Utd, Newcastle In Race For Super Eagles Striker?
Published: April 30, 2020
Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly in pole position to sign Nigeria international Emmanuel Dennis.
Eurosport journalist Manu Lonjon has tweeted that Wolves have stolen a march on their rivals in the race for the services of the Club Brugge striker.
Manchester
United, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Everton, Leicester City, Brighton,
Sheffield United, Watford and Crystal Palace are among the Premier League clubs to have been credited with an interest in Dennis.
The
22-year-old has not played 75 percent of the Super Eagles matches over
the last two years, so an interested Premier League club have to pay in
the region of fifteen million pounds as transfer fee before the player
is granted a work permit.
Dennis' two international appearances for the Super Eagles came against Ukraine and Brazil in friendlies.
In
the 2019-2020 season which has been cancelled, the former Zorya Lugansk
attacker scored 9 goals from 33 appearances while producing two
assists.
He has roughly two years remaining on his contract with Club Brugge, whom he joined in 2017.
