Inter Milan Could Sign Chelsea-Owned Wing-back Moses Permanently But Only On One Condition
Published: April 30, 2020
Victor Moses' future at Inter Milan is not in his hands, two months before the expiration of his loan deal with the Italian Serie A club.
According to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano writing for Calciomercato, Inter Milan are not willing to pay twelve million euros, thought to be the purchase clause inserted into his loan contract, for the former Nigeria international.
Bearing in mind that the Serie A has been halted and clubs are no longer generating income as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, The Nerazzurri could offer Moses a permanent deal only if they are granted a discount by Chelsea.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner has not played much since his arrival at Inter in January, logging 359 minutes from a possible 810 in all competitions.
Manager Antonio Conte is keen to retain the services of Moses for next season but plans to promote Tibo Persyn to the first team should Inter Milan fail to strike terms with Chelsea.
Chelsea will need to sell the versatile wing-back in the upcoming transfer window if they want to recoup part of their investment as his contract with the club expires at the end of next season.
