'I Want To At Least Stay Here This Season'- Ex-Man Utd Winger Open To Extending Randers Contract
Published: June 09, 2020
Former Manchester United winger Tosin Kehinde has admitted that he is open to extending his contract at Danish Superliga outfit Randers.
The Feirense-owned player joined Randers on a loan deal which runs out at the end of this month but he hopes to be allowed to finish the season, which was earlier paused due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Kehinde had yet to make his professional debut prior to his arrival at Randers last July but now has sixteen first team games under his belt, including ten starts.
"I want to at least stay here this season. I have said yes, so it is now up to the club and my owner to find a solution," Kehinde told bold.dk.
Kehinde's agent previously claimed that teams based in Belgium, Spain, Scotland and Denmark were monitoring the situation of his client but the player wants a longer stay at Randers.
" I know no more about any other clubs than everyone else. My focus is on Randers, and as I've already said, I want to stay, so it's out of my hands right now," he added.
Kehinde started Randers' 2-1 loss to Danish champions FC Copenhagen on Sunday, June 7.
