Manchester City Loanee Nominated For Blackburn Rovers Goal Of The Season
Published: July 04, 2020Manchester City loanee Tosin Adarabioyo has been nominated for Blackburn Rovers' Goal of the Season, informs the official website of the Championship club.
The central defender's brilliant finish against Bristol City on matchday 38 has been shortlisted for the accolade.
On 61 minutes, Adarabioyo curled in a shot from inside the area and Blackburn Rovers ended up winning the game 3-1.
The 22-year-old is up against strikes from Williams (v Millwall), Armstrong (v Reading), Travis (v Luton Town), Dack (v Brentford), Gallagher (v Stoke City), Armstrong (v Derby County), Johnson (v Bristol City), Downing (v Nottingham Forest) and Armstrong (v Hull City).
Adarabioyo's other goals since his loan move to Rovers last summer came against Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic.
The winner of the Goal of the Season will be presented with the award in Rovers' final home game of the season when they face Reading on July 18.
A commanding center back and former England youth international, Adarabioyo has appeared in 32 games so far this season.
