'It's A Very Beautiful Country' - Spanish-Born Huesca Striker Willing To Play For Nigeria
SD Huesca attacker Carlos Kevin Omoruyi has revealed that he won't reject a call-up to play for the Nigerian National Teams if he is approached by the Nigeria Football Federation.

The highly-rated teenager is inching closer to making his first team debut for La Liga new boys Huesca, having made the matchday squad for their final two games of the 2019-2020 season.

Asked to clarify where his international future lies, Omoruyi told allnigeriasoccer.com : "I was born in Spain but my parents are from Nigeria. l have been to Nigeria, it is a very beautiful country and you enjoy a lot.

"Of course I would be very happy to play for any Nigerian team".

Omoruyi, who idolises Super Eagles legend Daniel Amokachi, is teammates with Kelechi Nwakali at Huesca but the former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles skipper has not spoken to him about representing Nigeria in future.

"At the moment I have not discussed it with Kelechi yet. I have always played as a striker and I model my game after Daniel Amokachi.

"I am working very hard and I have the confidence that I will make my debut in La Liga next season," he added.

Omoruyi had his footballing education with Peñas Oscenses before he was poached by SD Huesca in 2016.
