Super Eagles Star Nominated For West Brom Supporters' Player Of The Season

Super Eagles center back Semi Ajayi has been nominated for West Brom's Ideal Boilers Supporters’ Player of the Season for the 2019-2020 campaign.

According to the official website of the Baggies, Ajayi and thirteen other players are in the running for the yearly accolade.

To be eligible to be nominated, a player must have made at least 23 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship over the course of the 2019-2020 season.

Ajayi had his most successful season as a professional, helping West Ham secure promotion to the top-flight with 43 appearances under his belt in the Championship and was in action for 3,782 minutes, scoring five goals.

Only four players, namely Matt Phillips (7), Matheus Pereira (8), Hal Robson-Kanu (10) and Charlie Austin (10),scored more than the Nigeria international in the league.

Ajayi joined West Brom from demoted Rotherham United in July 2019.
