Nigeria-eligible youngster Olamide Ibrahim was delighted after completing his move to Championship club Derby County.
Ibrahim was on the books of English Premier League side Manchester United until the end of last season when he was released following the expiration of his contract.
Ibrahim is among nine Derby County players beginning the first year of their scholarship deals in the 2020-2021 season.
The promising teenager was an influential member of Manchester United's squad to the SuperCupNI staged in Northern Ireland two years ago.
Writing on Instagram Saturday, accompanied with a photo of him training with Derby County, Ibrahim said : "Fresh start, new beginning thankyou lord 🎚".
Next season, Ibrahim will represent Derby County U18 team, along with Osazee Aghatise, who joined the Rams from Manchester City in the summer of 2019.
Derby County were one of England's representatives in the UEFA Youth League in the 2019-2020 season.
