Scottish Giants Celtic, Rangers Interested In Signing Fulham, Brighton, Leicester-Linked Winger
Published: September 09, 2020
English Premier League clubs face competition as they bid to sign Nigerian-born winger Bright Osayi-Samuel, according to reports.
Football Insider claims that the Queens Park Rangers Young Player of the Year is attracting interest from Scottish Premiership giants Glasgow Celtic and Rangers.
Fresh from a campaign that saw him involved in 15 goals (6 goals, 9 assists) from 40 matches across all competitions, Osayi-Samuel has also been linked with possible moves to Leicester City, Fulham and Brighton & Hove.
The cost of signing the winger this summer is believed to be in the region of five million pounds, with Queens Park Rangers accepting that fee from Club Brugge, only for the player to eventually turn down a move to the Belgian champions.
The 22-year-old has entered the final nine months of his contract with the Hoops and can sign a pre-contract with a foreign club in January 2021, and this is something which Glasgow Rangers are working on.
Osayi-Samuel is expected to be in action for Queens Park Rangers when they face Nottingham Forest in their Championship opener on Saturday, September 12.
