According to Il Mattino (via Calcio Napoli1926), Victor Osimhen remained on the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona pitch to train immediately after Napoli's goalless draw against Atalanta on Wednesday.
The Nigeria international was introduced off the bench for the final eight minutes of the Coppa Italia clash against the team from Lombardy.
Osimhen trained for about twenty minutes under the guidance of Gennaro Gattuso's assistant while the players were in the shower.
With Napoli's third-choice goalkeeper Nikita Contini also in attendance, the Napoli number 9 took part in shooting practice.
Since receiving the thumbs up from the Blues medical team to return to action on January 24, Osimhen has not yet started a game, playing as a substitute against Hellas Verona, Spezia and Atalanta and was an unused substitute in the 2-0 win vs Parma last weekend.
Napoli's next game comes up against Genoa on Saturday, February 6.
