'New Jay-Jay Okocha' First Words After Signing New Manchester United Deal
Published: February 09, 2021England youth international of Nigerian descent Shola Shoretire has taken to social media to celebrate signing his first professional contract with Manchester United.
The fantastically gifted attack-minded player has inked a professional contract eight years after his arrival at the Old Trafford outfit.
Shoretire's signing ceremony was attended by Manchester United first team coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
With his quick feet and eye for a pass, Shoretire has been compared to Super Eagles and Paris Saint-Germain legend Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, according to the Daily Mail.
In his first words after putting pen to paper, the 17-year-old posted on Instagram : "It's a dream come true to sign my first professional contract for my boyhood club!
"Such a proud day for me and my family 🙌🏾 Thank you to everyone at the club and to my family who have helped me get to this moment. Hard work continues!"
It may not be long before Shoretire makes his professional debut as he has been invited to train with Manchester United first team this season.
