Published: February 11, 2021
Kieran Tierney has won Arsenal's Goal of the Month poll for January 2021, informs the Gunners on their official website.
The Scotland international's stunning strike against West Brom came out on top of the poll with 63 percent of the vote.
Three Nigerian teenagers namely Folarin Balogun, Mazeed Ogungbo and Miguel Azeez had been in the running for the monthly accolade for their goals against Brighton & Hove U23s, Tottenham Hotspur U18s and Brighton & Hove U23s respectively.
Bukayo Saka's finish against West Brom was behind in second, while Balogun's goal finished third.
The Anglo-Nigerian striker bagged a hat-trick against the Seagulls but the most eye-catching of his three goals was when he dribbled through the Brighton defence before slotting into the bottom corner in the tenth minute.
Emile Smith Rowe, Vivianne Miedema , Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang , Omari Hutchinson and Kido Taylor-Hart were the other nominees for Arsenal's Goal of the Month.
Balogun has been shortlisted for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for his outstanding performance last month.
