Southampton Coach Names Super Eagles Target Among Players Who Impressed Him Vs Wolves
Published: February 11, 2021
Southampton are into the quarterfinals of the FA Cup after a 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium on Thursday evening.
Wolves didn't really turn up for most part of the game and the Saints eventually made it count as Danny Ings scored their first goal before a fine finish from Stuart Armstrong late on.
Super Eagles target Nathan Tella replaced Moussa Djenepo with three minutes remaining and looked really impressive in a brief cameo.
Chasing a second goal to make things save, Southampton eventually got it in the final seconds with Tella involved in the build-up.

The former Arsenal schoolboy seized upon a mistake by Wolves goalkeeper John Ruddy, got his head up and picked out Armstrong who finished into the bottom corner.
Tella was among the players praised by Southampton coach Ralph Hasenhuttl who noted that the winger had an instant impact.
"It is easier when you have good options from the bench. Kyle Walker-Peters is back, it was our last win against Arsenal, since then we didn’t win," Hasenhuttl told BT Sport via Hampshire Live.
"[Mohammed] Salisu I was pleased with, he has had the hardest time, and very happy that he showed immediately he can help us. Nathan Tella also immediately showed up."

Tella has now made eight appearances for Southampton in all competitions since his professional debut, including five in the Premier League.
