Manchester United have to pay 'huge fees' to sign Barcelona Femeni's Super Falcons captain

Reports in the Spanish press continue to link Asisat Oshoala with a departure from UEFA Women's Champions League winners Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
Barcelona-based sports daily Sport reported on Tuesday that the future of the four-time African Women's Footballer of the Year is covered in mist, adding that Manchester United are interested in the attacker but have to pay a 'very huge fee' to get the services of the forward.
Oshoala will enter the final one year of her contract with Barcelona next month and has hinted several times that she is considering a departure from the club.
With the Super Falcons skipper having roughly twelves months left on her contract, it is envisaged that Barcelona have to renew her deal or sell her this summer, rather than allowing her leave for free in 2022.
If Oshoala's proposed move to Manchester United materializes, the Red Devils will be signing a player with Women's Super League pedigree as she previously turned out for Liverpool and Arsenal.
The 26-year-old has been named in the Nigeria squad for their upcoming friendlies against United States, Portugal and Jamaica.
