Photo confirmation : Watford sign talented striker from Arsenal
Published: June 17, 2021English Premier League newcomers Watford are on the verge of confirming the signing of promising striker Aaron Benn, who wore the colours of Arsenal in 2020-2021.
Benn has taken to social media to inform that his move to the Hornets is in the bag, thus ending his association with the Gunners.
It is believed that Benn has signed a scholarship deal with Watford and will represent their U18 team in the forthcoming season.
"After 8 years at this amazing club, my journey with this club has come to an end. I would like to thank everyone associated with the club for everything and allowing me to develop as a player and as a person on and off the pitch," Benn said in his farewell message to Arsenal.
"This includes the coaches and medical team who have played an important role in my development over the years. Finally, I wish everyone at the club all the best for the future."
Benn netted a brace and provided an assist on his U18 Premier League debut as Arsenal thrashed Reading 6-1 on May 4, 2021.
