Rennes ready to battle West Ham, Brighton & Hove for 35-goal Nigerian striker
Rennes are the latest team interested in signing Nigerian attacker Paul Onuachu, according to reports.

Butfootball making reference to MSV Foot says Cédric Bakambu is not the only center-forward tracked by the Brittany club in the summer transfer window as they also have Onuachu on their radar.

Rennes are in the market for a striker with the future of Senegal international M'Baye Niang up in the air.

The Red and Blacks will face competition to sign the Super Eagles star, with several Premier League clubs mulling over a bid for the 27-year-old.

Allnigeriasoccer.com exclusively reported nine days ago that Brighton & Hove and West Ham United were exploring ways to sign the Racing Genk goal poacher.

Onuachu's potential departure from the Belgian Cup winners is one of the most discussed topics back in his homeland after a banner season that saw him score 35 goals in all competitions.

Racing Genk will be forced to sell the former FC Midtjylland star if they receive an offer in the region of 30 million euros.
