Fulham interested in signing ex-Queens Park Rangers' Nigerian-born winger
Published: July 04, 2021According to multiple press reports in Turkey including television channel Aspor, demoted Premier League team Fulham are interested in signing Nigerian-born youngster Bright Osayi-Samuel in the summer transfer window.
It has been claimed that Portuguese football tactician Marco Silva is in the market for players with Championship experience and the Fenerbahce winger is on his wishlist.
Osayi-Samuel accumulated 109 appearances in the Championship for two different clubs Queens Park Rangers and Blackpool before transferring to Fenerbahce in January.
The 23-year-old has struggled to replicate his performances in England since joining the Yellow Canaries, scoring one goal and registering an assist in nineteen matches.
Fenerbahce are looking to generate money from the sale of players and would be willing to part company with the Anglo-Nigerian if their valuation is met by an interested club.
Osayi-Samuel has a valid contract with the Istanbul club until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
He has started training with Fenerbahce ahead of the forthcoming campaign.
