Norwich City consider making N7b bid for Super Eagles target
Premier League new boys Norwich City are reportedly considering making a bid for Nigeria Football Federation target Philip Billing.

Football League World citing Alan Nixon says the Canaries are interested in signing Billing this summer and are weighing up a £10m (approximately N7 billion) move for the Bournemouth midfielder.

The Cherries, the only relegated side at the end of the 2019-2020 season that failed to secure an immediate return to the Premier League, are willing to cash in on the one-cap Denmark international.

Billing signed for the Vitality Stadium outfit from Huddersfield Town for a £15 million fee in July 2019 and has gone on to establish himself as one of the key players in the squad, totaling 78 appearances.

Former Huddersfield Town Head of Football Operations Stuart Webber, who is now the sporting director at Norwich City, would fancy a reunion with the Danish-Nigerian.

Predominantly a defensive midfielder, Billing thrived in a number 10 role in the second half of last season, scoring  five goals and assisting three others in his last nine games in the regular season.

The 25-year-old still has three years to run on his contract with Bournemouth.
