Manchester United academy product Kehinde opens account for the 2021-2022 season
Published: August 01, 2021
Manchester United academy product Tosin Kehinde opened his goalscoring account for the 2021-2022 season as Randers registered an impressive 2-1 road win against Aarhus GF at Ceres Park on Sunday afternoon.
The 2019 Nigeria U23 invitee was a constant threat with his pace on the right flank and his hard work paid off when he opened the scoring for Randers in the 27th minute.
Kehinde fired home in a an elegant way after receiving a brilliant pass from Mathias Greve, Dawid Kurminowski equalised on 50 minutes before Simon Graves' match-winning strike at minute 54.
For the third consecutive game - all of which he started - the United old boy was replaced around the 70th minute mark, just as was the case against Vejle and Odense Boldklub.
Kehinde participated in ten goals from 32 matches across all competitions last season and already has a goal involvement of two in the current campaign, having bagged an assist in Randers' season opener.
Randers, who have won their first two away games of the new season and top the Superliga table with seven points, are at home to Sønderjysk next Sunday.
