Wolverhampton Wanderers make contact with Fulham over signing of Tosin
Published: August 26, 2021Fulham's Nigeria-eligible center-back Tosin Adarabioyo continues to be linked with a departure from Craven Cottage less than six days before the close of the summer transfer window.
According to Football League World, Wolverhampton Wanderers are plotting a late summer move for the Manchester City academy product.
It is claimed that Tosin has a release clause of ten million pounds which expired this summer and Fulham are considering increasing the asking price for the defender to fight off interest from Wolves.
Manchester City will benefit from the sale of the Anglo-Nigerian having retained a sell-on clause on the player who spent
seventeen years with them.
A very disciplined defender, Tosin started 33 of Fulham's 38
matches in the top-flight last term, logging 2954 minute and was
cautioned just once for time wasting in a 2-1 win at Leicester City.
He has impressed in the new season, helping the Cottagers pick up ten points from their first four Championship matches.
Tosin has less than two years remaining on his contract with Fulham.
