According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via Tuttomercatoweb, Napoli are expected to demand an astonishing nine-figure asking price in the event that Victor Osimhen departs the Italian Serie A side before the end of his contract.
Osimhen is valued at more than 100 million euros (approximately N48.25 billion in Nigerian currency) by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
In reality, only clubs such as Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Bayern Muich are in a position to meet the price tag that Napoli have set for Osimhen.
Lille tempted Napoli into shelling out 70 million euros plus performance-related add-ons for the Nigeria international in the summer of 2020.
The 2015 U17 World Cup winner has seen his stock rise in recent days after his second half brace against Leicester City in the UEFA Europa League.
In his maiden season in Naples, the Super Eagles star scored 10 goals and set up three others in 30 appearances across all competitions, giving him a goal contribution of 0.43 per game.
Osimhen has a contract with Napoli until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
