'No negotiations' - Agent dismisses reports linking Super Eagles GK Okoye with OGC Nice

Former Feyenoord midfielder Wessel Weezenberg, who represents Maduka Okoye, has moved quickly to dismiss reports that suggested that he was in talks with French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice over a deal for the Super Eagles goalkeeper.
The German-born glovesman has been tipped to make the next leap in his career in the near future after cementing his spot in the starting line-up for club and country, with manager Henk Fraser and Gernot Rohr placing their confidence in him despite his young age.
After failing to secure a move away from Sparta Rotterdam in the summer transfer window, De Kasteelheren extended the contract of the young goalkeeper until 2025.
Weezenberg acknowledged that his client Okoye is on the radar of several European clubs but stressed that at the moment no negotiations have taken place.
"He is linked already with many clubs but as you understand I cannot comment too much about which teams," Prime 11 CEO Weezenberg said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
"There have not been negotiations with that (OGC Nice) or any other club".
The 22-year-old Okoye has 38 senior appearances to his name at club level, keeping ten clean sheets while conceding 54 goals.
